I have three pairs of North Face running tops that I alternately wear when I run in cold weather. I love these top because they are not only lightweight, the wicking works wonder, it pulls away the moisture from the skin., And that's the beauty of wicking. Anyhow, I have always worn a second layer when the temp. drop below 40F.
This morning I was brave enough to wear only running top without a second layer. No gloves, no hat. The temp. was unbelievably warm for winter. It was 46F. I spent about 30 minutes at the tracl for core workout and ran four lap. The last lap, 100 meter before the fisnih line I picked up the speed which was a mistake. I hadn't run for almost three weeks. I thought I saw a few stars when I got to the end.
When I got to Castle Island, the tide was high and the sun was bright. The pier was empty, which was a bonus because I took my time to stretch while watching the wave crushed the piles underneath. I wonder how long will this warm winter last, but I have no complain.
