Right before Christmas last year I bought
two boxes of Amaryllis Red Lion. Each box contained a coir disk (made from coconut fibre-sabut), a plastic pot and a bulb.
I placed the disk in a pot and added 4 cups of warm water. When the coir disk absorbed the water, I transferred the loosen soil into a terracotta pot and discarded the plastic pot.
I planted the bulb and put the pot under a kitchen table away from the sunlight.
I watch the plant grows from an inch to 25 inches height.
Last week when I went out with my date I told him about my plant. He said to shoot the blooming flowers in a completely dark room.
"You'll be amazed at the beauty of your work.''
He was right.
I am completely in awe.
PakIdrus,
I've learned something new.

Yes it is indeed a work of art. Great photography. Never use the flash when shooting object for its artistic effect.
Have a nice day.
