What a gorgeous day for a winter. This is my kind of winter, I don't need to have my hat, glove and scarf on. Trisca and I had lunch at Penang Restaurant. The last time we went out was three months ago.
After she left her banking job and I left my job at Harvard Square, and started a new job we hardly had time to go out.
We ordered a huge bowl of asam laksa, a half dozen of chicken satay and Char Koay Teow. Between slurping laksa gravy which is delicious and dippping satay into peanut sauce, we update our work, love and family (not necessarily in order).
Two weeks ago, Trisca sprained her left ankle while snowboarding in New Hamhshire with her significant other. She has not given up to persuade me to go snowboarding with her. No......no.......no.........
After the lunch we took a subway to Harvard Square. Trisca wants to get a couple of law books at Harvard Co-Op bookstore. I almost spend $23.00 on a new hardcover book, A Trouble with Islam, but I restraint myself. Wait for the softcover, I remind myself.
Outside the store we sit on the bench, watch the passerbys, and hum a few keronchong songs which we make up the lyrics along the way. Everytime I go out with Trisca, I like to sing Selendang Sutera and Trisca's favorite is Bengawan Solo. We burst out laughing whenever we stuck. When the air get chillier it is time to leave because both of us are not dress appropriately for the winter. We hug and go separate way. Trisca walks back to her place which is three blocks away from we are sitting, and I take the subway back to my place. Thank you for the good time, girlfriend.
